  13. · Introduction:

  15. I hate it to open YAM and look what kind of EMail arrived while I work
  16. with AmIRC. I could of course set up filters that play certain sounds
  17. on certain EMails, but still, I can't see whose EMail I got.
  18.  
  19. So I came to the idea of writing a little script that sends useful
  20. information to the AmIRC window, letting me easily see who EMails come
  21. from, without the need to open the YAM window.

  27. - Display number of total/new/unread "Incoming" EMails in active AmIRC
  28.     window. 
  29. - Allows to set up patterns to match the "From" header and display the
  30.     resulting emails.
  31. - Plays a soundfile even when AmIRC is not active.
  32. - Displaying of all New and Unread EMails in the Incoming folder.
  33. - AmIRC interface to control YAM2AmIRC from within itself, so you can at
  34.     any time check your Incoming folder and even control YAM.
  35. - Many configuration options, also for the sound player.
  36. - Separate config file, no need to delete your old settings
  37.     anymore when you update.
  38. - Includes spanish and german versions !

  65. - v2.1b        internal, changed config access to external file. Changed
  66.             output a little bit.

  68. - v2.1b2    fixed bug that would run the whole script even when YAM was not
  69.             running. Added "about", "help" and "config" commands. Some
  70.             minor optimizations.

  72. - v2.1        removed debug lines. No other errors found.

  74. - v2.11        internal, added code for future feature (not implemented yet in
  75.             YAM).

  77. - v2.12        added selection feedback to previously selected mail and some
  78.             new output for AmIRC.

  81.             YAM2AmIRC now creates a temporary file in T: which

  87.             list of EMails anymore when checking the list, it stops
  88.             after all Emails marked as New are reviewed. Added "close"
  89.             and "check" (by request) commands. Changed the code so now
  90.             is it easy to do translations.
